A Place Called Rio was a capsule campaign developed during my time as Creative Lead at Tejesta.

Shot in Urca, Rio de Janeiro, the campaign explored a quieter and more architectural side of the city — intentionally moving away from the familiar imagery of Copacabana and Ipanema. Much like Tejesta itself, Urca carries a strong relationship with structure, history, and design.

The concept was built around the feeling of writing a postcard to someone you love.

To bring that idea into the physical world, we created real postcards and developed a custom Tejesta postage stamp. I sourced vintage Brazilian stamps and invited friends and family to write personal messages to real recipients. The postcards were later scanned and incorporated into the campaign, becoming part of both the visual identity and storytelling process.

Alongside the editorial imagery, the project expanded into a multi-sensory experience through a curated playlist featuring Brazilian music that shaped the emotional atmosphere of the campaign.
